Female World War II veteran to be honored in Greenville

GREENVILLE - For Women's History Month, the First State Military Women Warriors Unit 10 will honor a World War II WAVE, the unit's eldest member, Carobelle Sutton Hanssmann. She will be 102 years old on March 31. She is believed to be the oldest living woman World War II veteran in Delaware.

FSMWW, is the Delaware Chapter of Military Women Across the Nation. National president, Patty Parks of MWAN, will also be participating in this celebration.

The Country House, in Greenville will be hosting this event on March 12 at 10:30 a.m. Since March is offi-cially Military Women's Month, in addition to honoring Ms. Hanssmann, the unit will also be honoring other women veterans who currently reside at the Country House.
